ENVIRONMENTAL CONSTRUCTION AND REMEDIATION
Permeable Reactive Barriers
Geo-Con is a recognized leader in the forefront of one of the latest environmental technologies, permeable reactive barriers (PRBs). Applying the expertise obtained from Deep Soil Mixing (DSM)/Shallow Soil Mixing (SSM) slurry walls and Bio-Polymer trench installation, Geo-Con has successfully constructed more PRBs than anyone. Geo-Con uses specified reactive components, such as activated carbon, iron filings, or other reagents, delineated in design criteria, enabling contaminants to either be adsorbed or degraded to less hazardous components. Geo-Con will remain a leader in this emerging technology and values our recognized contribution to such innovation.
